The clamping jaws for taps were produced on a 3-axis milling machine.
The material used was toolox44 with a hardness of ~44 HRc. The workpiece size was 250 x 160 x 50 mm.
The pieces are used in a batch production process where the raw material is clamped in a pair of lower jaws.
